Excelentes vsts y sonidos amigo saludos desde México 🇲🇽
thank you , most appreciate your support. Enjoy the vsts and use them in your tracks
Love that idea!
@@b291219761 do it pal. You could do several albums 😃🤣🤣
I'm sorry but something he said hit me and I just wanted to ask if people over seas generally think about when Americans will be awake for social media xD.
Optimizing your content for the algorithm may help you get an extra X veiws. But I can almost guarantee you that optimizing your content for the listeners is what will control your actual growth, if you can make high quality music that tons of people want to listen to, then even if you just throw it at the upload section give it a basic name and cover and click upload right there, if it is good enough, It will still be able to get plenty of traction.
Btw the same goes for videos, if you make something that loads of people want to watch it will get big almost no matter what
Can you do more about the cassette revival? I just think it's an interesting topic.
hi I think thats already well documented on other videos, but overall I think it has been a quiet revival and has always been there. I am going to do a mix tape i think soon and put a run together.
never heard of vapourwave before, and glad i hadn't, sounds awful.
Haha. My example isn't possibly the best to show as I've slowed down a nu disco record which is tougher to do . Try this to see if it sways your opinion 👍ua-cam.com/video/Ki-fATpXa00/v-deo.htmlsi=_dAMKTMjcUGeLdsV
i do this all the time. Paralysed by choice lol
im the same, shorten your list of fave vst and stick with those. you will be more productive and possibly end up becoming more skilled in those vst too. win win
@@Waxadisc I should totally do that, just pare it down to Serum. Its just so bloody hard to lose that feeling of 'Oh I'll use it one day'! Was easier back in the day, was just an original bass station and an S2000, you just made do. Need chords? Sample the bass station into the s2000 and theres your polyphony. Its absolutely true that limitations can help, we got stuff we never dreamed of back then these days. Its nuts
great advice
Great vid mate!!
Great vaporwave approach! I’m doing such a thing right now using random city pop/nu disco and slow rnb jams which is a lot of fun!
It's a brilliant way to make old tracks sound different to their original sound. Id never have thought I'd be slowing down old records like this 😂. All good fun. Let me hear what you do when you're ready
The best thing about em is they always stayed real AF my rap name is comprised of Tupac and B real 2Real
90s the best era👍
Word
Sounds great! Are the one shot of the loops too?
theres some string one shots but mostly loops, you can break them down though and create new melodies and riffs if you chop them
Absolute Madness!!!!!! SOLD!
total madness , thank you
The link for the digital download is here www.waxadisc.com/product-page/the-ultimate-disco-funk-samples-pack-sale
would love to hear you play some of those tracks!
copyright reasons sadly, However they are all easy to find :)
this is literally gold
thank you. I hope you can take plenty of tips form it :)
Accccccccccccciieeeeeeeed ;) Nice Mate!!!!
Was there a Part 2! Nice!!!
Each part is being uploaded everyday for the next week :)
@@Waxadisc We appreciate You R!!!!
Good stuff @Waxadisc Music :-) Please give us more like this ;-) could you do some 90s US House
depends what style? DJ Sneak, early strictly Rhythm, Nervous or todd terry etc? so many to choose from :)
@@Waxadisc strictly Rhythm, Nervous yes yes yes :-)
Great tutorial! Nice to see you making a different genre ❤
thanks Pablo. I gotta try new stuff, might even make an album now in vaporwave
Thanks for all the great lessons ! 💪
you are welcome , this course will be loaded up one episode per day for the next week so do check in :)
Amazing tune that Rob would love a video on what you was using to produce back then and how it came together. 1999 what a great year for music I was 19 at the time. Just found one of yours sets from Progress. Would have loved to got down the Midlands to Progress and Passion at Coalville always sound like great nights.
Yes Carl. Basically I made this on a windows 98 pc with cakewalk software in about 25 minutes. 😃. It just went off very quickly , right place right time really. those days were hectic but fun :)
I like this, is there anywhere you can download the full track?
its a course I made. here is the track ua-cam.com/video/PB4wsY2m3bo/v-deo.htmlsi=F1QacodWFzP0s6e7
anyone know why these sounds aren't chromatic? playing a major third on my keyboard and it's sounding as a tritone... It's the same with every interval
i dont know im afraid. I only use singular notes when i play this so havent noticed this issue. thanks for watching though . at least youve spotted a flaw :)
Inspiring video, reminds me of my deep disco period in the 2010s. I have a ton of these records, I should take a shot at this genre as well. For sampling, I play around with Koala Sampler (iPad), Ableton Live + Push 2 (PC), or my MPC Live 2, depending on my mood. Lately I've been mostly enjoying my MPC Live 2. It delivers a very tactile experience, has full DAW capability, and it's a great device to take outside and make music wherever I feel inspired. All have their strengths though. Koala is the most intuitive of the three while Ableton excels in looping, jamming, arranging and finishing.
i had an mpc last year for a while on loan, I liked it but being an ableton push person for so long it took me a while to wrap my head around it but now I might get another one and try again. Koala is just great all round for its in the pocket and you can go outside like you said. Overall though we are spoilt for choice :)
@@Waxadisc The MPC platform is absolutely a bitch to get your head around if you're coming from a more conventional DAW environment like Ableton. Once you get your head around it though it makes for a fairly fast workflow for what is basically a standalone DAW. What helped me getting the hang of it is using the MPC Bible.
Thanks so much for this latest series of tutorials. I'm a beginner and these are perfect projects to keep me engaged, it's so easy to stop when you're not making progress. Short tutorials on full tracks with sample pack included is excellent! Working on this one now, I'll be putting it on my channel when I finish (I've put it out there now so I have to finish!)
nice one. that is the idea of the courses I provide, to help beginners. Enjoy and apply the skills you learn here to your own tracks down the line. good luck but mostly enjoy the process.
Love Vapour Ware - excellent video... eager see more of this!! Wooot
thanks, I will do some on Ableton next but also gonna try and do more koala videos as its a cool little app
feels like 2009 😄
you know its funny, When I decided to upload these old videos, I never thought people would be liking the windows 7 it was made on. .But I have had a few comments on other old videos I uploaded about the old software. 👍Nostalgic tutorials eh. 👌
Dope! 🔥🔥🔥
Even after 25 years, this is still a phenomenal belter. Takes me back to simpler, happier times. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
How is it that you have extra weight on the stylus? That wears down the needle quicker.
because im very old skool and this is how we did it back then and I havent changed it as it weighs my record better when I scratch. I know it can be altered but this works for me
Nice
This is the video which introduced me to your channel. Now, where do I listen to the full track you made in this video?
I'm afraid I no longer have it 😦.
Nice video. Haven’t seen Live 8 in ages 😅
classic software. .
What sample pack are you using for this one? Thanks for what you do..
It's in the description. You can download it for free 👌
Address please
97 St Marks Pl, New York, NY 10009
you cant miss it , theres a cafe underneath called Physical Graffiti 😃
Another great tutorial. Should you sidechain drum loops and against the main kick?
i always sidechain against a muted ghost kick so this way you can have a sidechain effect over a breakdown section for example without the need for the kick to be playing. For example if you sidechain a pad and want it to dip , you chain it from the muted kick instead of the actual kick in the track.... Hope that helps
Dope Jones Girls Album on Philadelphia. The other one with 'The feelings Killing me' I also like. I've never heard of the Michele 12" before!!! Need to check that out. Great to see another Salsoul collector. I nabbed all the Logg, First Choice, Inner Life, Larry Levan stuff back in the day. Used to DJ a lot in around London but the decline of bars & pubs, marriage, kids..say no more 😅. Dope content btw 👊🏿
Yes the Jones girls should be more respected in the wider music world IMO. Michelle was edited by maw a few years ago. It's called can lt you feel it.A great disco record 👌
@@Waxadisc had a listen. I need to find that! I'm getting educated haha!! This is me doing a little vinyl set in Brixton during lockdown. ua-cam.com/video/1C8gVtLzR_A/v-deo.html
top notch!!
Thanks for watching. Appreciate it

👏🔥🔥killer Salsoul 12"!! I have it on a Gordon Mac, Norman Jay Kiss FM comp. Dayton's Sound of Music still smashes the dance floor...also love their track 'Meet the Man'
Dayton were superb
A little bit of techno, a little bit of house. Reminds me of remixes by Steve Silk Hurley or the basement boys. You have a gift!😊
Thanks . Yes It has that vibe 😁
Thanks man :)
thanks for watching, enjoy the samples
i see so much passion in this Video, thank you
Thanks. Yes I do love my disco 👌
Excellent, thank you
You're welcome
Excellent Tutorial…🙏🏾🎧🎵🎶🎧💣🔥🔥🔥🔥
nice one thanks
thanks a lot for sharing, gotta love some oldschool house vibes! :D
you are welcome
This was dope, thank you, but no thank you. Trying to finsish my album, now i want to write disco tracks instead of finishing my minimal house/techno release. haha. my spotify is going to end up looking like a top 40's playlist
Never stick to one genre. Always put out as many different styles as possible 👌
